Gayle L'Etoile received her Master of Science degree in Audiology from CSU, Sacramento in 1992. Following completion of her Clinical Fellowship Year, she obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from The American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is fully licensed by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
She specializes in adult hearing aid selection and fitting and honed her skills as a Hearing Device Specialist at the California Ear Institute at Stanford. She returned to Sacramento in 1999 to get married and worked with otologist Stuart Gherini, MD, taking over his practice upon his retirement in 2005.
As a musician, she is interested in preventing noise-induced hearing loss, and in enhancing the listening experience of others.
